The CinePoint company was founded in 1990, originally as a translating and interpreting agency specializing in film. It provided service to foreign productions working in the Czech and Slovak republics (French, Spanish, Italian, German, English). Interpreters, who were at the same time formed as assistants to the different professions of film, took part in the shooting of many large productions (French full-length film Giorgino, Maigret series, service for different companies such as Etamp film, Alfa film, Etic prod., KF and others), publicity and other short films. Later on with the outflow of foreign production, the company oriented itself to film and photography production, as well as web design in collaboration with the LOGOS project. As one of the very few in Czech republic, it keeps a truly independent production and the rights to all the films it produces. CinePoint also provides service for Czech or foreign, film or television productions. This includes production and post-production as well as a sound service, mainly for documentary films. Looking into the "Services" section, will give you their full description.

Other activities of the company include photography. In cooperation with ing.Martin Špelda we produce aerial photography and have thus a very large archive of images of historical and notable places in Czech republic. We also collaborate on aerial archaeological prospecting.

In 1999 we have, as one of the first, found interest in the new technologies offered by digital film and have refurbished the equipment of our "Studio" in consequence to digitalize the production from the camera to the edition room. Our favorite and most reliable partner for sound production and service is the Audio Atelier Mars of Daniel Němec.
